Fleetwood Park

Looking after the boys for the afternoon gives way to a park opportunity.
I really do love summer!

Lindsey turns 30

Jordan planned a surprise party for his dear wife, Lindsey.
But ultimately, it was Beckham who was surprised the most....he cried for 10 minutes straight after we all yelled "surprise"....poor wee lamb!

It was at their "cross-fit" friends' house....thanks Rod and Julie!
Happy Birthday, Linds!

Dear Wee Beckham

I don't think words are required.....
Yes, he does have ALOT of hair
Grammie loves you, Beckham Jordan!

Crescent Beach Day

With all of the Grands together we decided to have a beach day

What a terrific time everyone had together!

I do LOVE my family and SO enjoy the times we can spend all together.
God is good.  All the time.

Quilt

This quilt was a birthday gift handmade by my dear SIL Marilyn.  She is an amazing quilter, and all of my kids and kidlets have had one given to them for their weddings and births.  So FINALLY I have one of my own....yippee!!
Thanks Marilyn....you are such a blessing to me!

Beckham's Dedication Day

What a joy to share in such a special day!
We pray that God will bless and keep this wee boy....and that he will give his heart to the Lord at an early age.

And off to a pnacake lunch at Jordan and Lindsey's with family and friends.

Beckham boy

Our dear, youngest g-boy....Beckham....what a treasure he is to me!

Trevor's birthday

My baby is 30 years old!
Wow!  No more kids in their twenties...I remember my thirtieth birthday like it was yesterday.
What happened?
Trevor is a delight and he is not happy until he makes you laugh.
I am so thankful and proud of the man he has become and the family he has established.

We had a wonderful celebration all together, including wee Beckham.
Praying God's blessings on you all the year through, Trev!

Welcome Baby B!!

So the wait is over....our 5th G-baby has arrived!
It is my pleasure to introduce
~Beckham Jordan McClelland~
(We knew his name started with a B ~ I LOVE his name!)
Born April 12, 2012
weighing in at 7lbs 12 oz

The delivery was SO quick and Lindsey did a stellar job!

I kinda got caught with my pants down....or should I say, my hair curled.
Beckham was in such a rush when he finally decided to arrive, I was afraid I would miss out on the moment so I didn't take the time to straighten my hair...bah-ha-ha

My Mom was able to come within a few hours of his birth.

It is at times like these that my heart could just burst for joy.

God has blessed our family with an adorable, healthy baby boy.
Beckham Jordan McClelland is the first of the next generation to continue the Robert McClelland name.

We are so blessed ~ Thank you, Lord!

A shower for Baby B

Lindsey was the quintessential pregnant woman....beautiful and fit.

Shawna hosted a wonderful event along with our dear friend Lyla.  The details were thoughtful and gorgeous.  Friends and family gathered to celebrate the wee Prince yet to be seen.

The joy of anticipation...one of the wonderful sides of life.

Bob's Birthday

PS:  Thanks for wee Beckham!

In Memory of Tucker

While we were away with Cranberry Creek, our dear, sweet Tucker had several seizures, and had to be put down.  He was only ten years old.  He was the best dog EVER.  He was so smart, and intuitive.  He loved with a love that was so faithful and true.
Best dog ever is an understatement.

Ya, okay, I could sometimes have some 'tude.
  But really...a red bow?

Oh, how I loved Gramma Rosie!

Check out the matching sweaters...no kidding....we DID NOT plan this, but had to take a picture when we realized what we had done!

Christmas is special at our house, and Tucker got it.
One year when he was quite young, at gift opening time we saw that he was moping under the dining room table.  It seemed that he was depressed....I usually got him a stocking with doggie treats in it but hadn't bothered that year.  So I went and put a stuffed toy into a gift bag and put it under the tree.  We called Tucker over and told him that it was for him....no kidding....he was THRILLED!  He actually unwrapped it and was happy the rest of the day!
From then on, we store the gift bag and stuffed animal with the Christmas decorations.  When the tub was opened each year, he would sniff it out and actually take it out of the tub, happy that he had a gift again.  When all the gifts were under the tree we would tuck it under there too.  If asked, he would go and find his gift and unwrap it.....but he would never even think to tear open the other gifts.
What an amazing dog!

He was fairly patient with the kids....well, most of the time.
He knew where the kids were...food was bound to follow.

Yes, I loved camping and yes, I had my own chair.

This was camping at Lake Chelan....he was like a puppy on that trip.

Did someone say food?....I'm there!

As long as he was with us, he was happy.....and ya, did he tell you he had his own chair?

Everyone who met Tucker, knew he was a very special dog.
He brought so much fun into our home.
We often said we didn't know what we would do without him....we knew he was irreplaceable.

~Man's best friend~
We miss you Tucker!
