The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your love, O Lord, endures forever ~ do not abandon the works of Your hands. Psalms 138:8

Merrry Christmas!

We are having a wonderful, snowy Christmas....the presents are all wrapped, Grampy's still sleeping...we'll have a quiet day together, just the two of us, before the troups arrive late this afternoon.
I am filled with thanksgiving for God's goodness and grace to us as He sent His son to be our Saviour.

The wonder of Christmas in the eyes of a child....may you experience such wonder as you celebrate with your family and friends.
God bless us every one

Christmas at Home

Don't you just love Christmas?!!

Well, we are now home for the holidays...Yippee! I do most of my decorating before we go away with CC...it is so wonderful to come home to Christmas....I just love this time of year!

I love the new decor...but I love tradition at the same time....so my Christmas decorating is a mix and match affair.

Below are a few ancient ornaments from Bob's Mom (as I was taking the pic of the Santa's I realized that someone has broken off the third Santa without telling me...argh?!) The carollers still have the original 5 and dime box it came in. The lit Santa was a gift from my Aunt Win, the shepherd from a now retired crafter-friend, and the reindeer was made by Jordy about 25 years ago.

With the snow piling up outside...just have to say "I LOVE IT!!" Don't really care how it hampers driving..."I STILL LOVE IT!"

Christmas lights and decor just look better in the snow....magical.

I have lots of thoughts to share with you over the coming days....so glad to be back home...God is truly good.

May you be blessed as you take time to sing the songs of Christmas.
