The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your love, O Lord, endures forever ~ do not abandon the works of Your hands. Psalms 138:8

Prayer request

My brother, Ken is going into surgery this Friday for a triple by-pass operation. He is in fairly good health with the exception of the 6 blockages that need immediate attention. He is also in great spirits, knowing that he is fortunate that the problem was caught pre and not post traumatic incident....Praise God!

Please pray with us for a quick recovery for Ken, and a peaceful heart for both Ken and Marilyn.

Cole Robert's Dedication

Yesterday was a wonderful, special day. Cole was dedicated to the Lord at church, and then we, along with fam and friends, were invited to Paul and Shawna's for a terrific lunch. We had a great time of fellowship together. My heart is full as I reflect on God's grace and mercy....thank you, Lord.

Tulip Town Trip

We went for date day to Tulip Town in LaConner (thanks for the idea, Lovella)

It was rather cold, but the rain held off for us. We had a leisurely lunch and it was glorious to see God's creation in all it's splendor...we are blessed.

The Robin and the Sparrow

Said the robin to the sparrow, “I should really like to know,
Why these anxious human beings
Rush about and worry so.”

Said the sparrow to the robin,
“Friend I think that it must be,
That they have no Heavenly Father,
Such as cares for you and me.”

This dear robin was singing to me and put me in mind of this poem that my MIL, Grandma Rosie has had hanging in her home for ever. I have always loved the poem, and it's message...a gentle reminder to me.

I trust you, too, will be reminded of our heavenly Father and how much He cares for us.
Enjoy your day, dear ones.

Our spot in the sun

Firstly, I apologize...you will have to bear with me...I took alot of photos on holidays in Maui. If a picture is worth a thousand words....then I have managed to pack alot of words on the next few blog entries.
I trust you enjoy your front row seat viewing my latest travel log.
The collage above is a few shots of our regular place to stay....Kaanapali Villas. God's gift to bargain hunting sun seekers....truly...we are so thankful for the wonderful holidays we have enjoyed at the villas.
