Way back in the day....when there were camp meetings, Wednesday night prayer meetings and choir practises there was often during a service prayertime a call for "unspoken prayer requests". Those with requests would raise their hand to indicate a need without needing to speak of it.
It could be because it was a very private matter, or something so personal, or perhaps the need or hurt was so deep that the person was unable to even form the words to express the need.
We didn't need to know the nature of the need to be able to pray for that person....we knew that God knew, and we would pray.
Just so you know...my hand is raised.
I have an unspoken request and I am asking that you pray.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
Thank you dear friends, for I know that I have entrusted this to those who will faithfully pray for me and my family.
